MSPH (Multiple Sclerosis Peoples Help)

MS Peoples Help (MSPH), a registered charity, (no: 1098090) was set-up by two people, both volunteers with MS and wheelchair users.

"We want to help other people with MS and their family, live in nicer, brighter and safer surroundings. This we believe will help people feel more relaxed and able to give a more positive approach to life".

Through experience working in the charity sector for fourteen years, we know only too well the difficulties experienced when trying to maintain the home and garden and of course, many people affected by MS, spend a lot of time at home.

MSPH aims to carry out general maintenance jobs, for example, decorating, repairing a leak, and installing equipment/security light to make life easier and more comfortable. Also, relaxing in a nice colourful, tidy garden can be very therapeutic and we arrange for jobs such building ramps, planting of flowers in tubs or even laying a patio. Our volunteers and local companies carry out these jobs and encouraging the person to help, if able.

No payment is required for the labour of our services but we do ask that, if possible, payment is made for materials and a donation.

MS (Multiple Sclerosis) is an incurable disease, affecting the brain and spinal cord, which can affect normal daily life.
